Does anyone know why Kruth hasn't participated in any tournaments the last few years? The last fights I can think of is superfights against Kemayo and Botha and he won both of them. I for one would like to see him in the Holland GP.

Apparently he's been training a lot of MMA lately (according to the Swedish Fight Club pbp guy on Eurosport).

I know he's had a knee injury bothering him. He's suspended from fighting at the moment for taking some illegal substance to help heal either his knee or foot faster for the fight with Kemayo. I think until September, but those are second hand reports I read, so I don't know.
Besides, he's going to focus on MMA now, as I understand it.

That sucks, he is no MMA fighter just as Perry Udeba is no waist up kickboxer, but injuries determin alot of fates.

Thanks for your answers. Kruth in mma isn't something I want to see either. I just think it's a pity that he hasn't fought in some of the bigger tournaments. I think he could be a serious threat to many of todays fighters. I don't think he could beat Schilt, Aerts or someone like that but a fight against Hari would be interesting.
