Changes K-1 Holland WGP april 26th

Some bad news for those who bought tickets (like Lord Gaul and me, who just received ours today).

Because of injuries of the last K-1 MAX, Souwer and Kraus aren't able to fight again in Amsterdam. Also it's highly likely that Direkci won't fight either.

For Kraus they have Stevelmans as replacement, the other spots have yet to be replaced.

Tonight when the It's Showtime management is back from Japan, they'll come with an official statement and hopefully all the new names (and I do hope they did some tough negotiations with FEG for that matter).

Petrosyan just signed with Simon Rutz so he's on the reserve list and there's a very decent chance he'll fight. He is supposed to fight Mes instead of Souwer but Mes has yet to agree.

Good news bad news for me. Bad of course no Souwer, but great that Petrosyan might be in.

I like the replacements and the card looks great. Last 2 Amsterdam events didn't quite live up to my expectations, so I hope this one will be different.

I am calling it right now, Jan is going to upset Breggy. If you look at my record in the recent forum contest you wouldn't go anywhere near my predictions. Never the less Jan is going to win.

But I'm the first to admit this fight could go either way and what I hear from Jan sounds promising. Then again we hear those things a lot, but it doesn't always work out (Sefo).

I'm sure Bregy haven't been sitting down the last weeks either.

Bregy also dropped some weight. Anyway it's either Jan by KO or Bregy by KO or decision. Bregy is much more complete and has a solid style now. Jan has to swing for the fences and hit Bregy on his chin.

People often forget he's only 23 years old. He has got the talent for sure, good speed-power, good hand and kicks and his style can still be developped. He has a good team around him, has the training facilities, ... so I think he's definetely a man for the future.

I think Bregy is the favourite to win this GP IF he makes it past Nortje. If Nortje lands on his chin, it good be lights out for Bjorn.

Well I trained with both Jan and Viney in Tokyo,and what I will say is that they're definately in shape.But as we know especially with the big guys is that all it takes is one punch to land!

Warren and Drago seems a nice match up if I'm patriotic it's Stevelmanns(He tells me he was born in SA and left when he was 3).But I have to go with Drago not only a good fighter but as it turns out we're one of the closer guys on the max circuit.

Didn't get to see Jan training this time as he had to go beat on Montana Silva in Osaka, but I watched Viney twice and he looked much improved. I got some training shots of his I am just waiting to get approval on before uploading them.

He may be fighting this Saturday at It's Showtime in the Amsterdam Arena. He's going to fight on the 31st of May in Sweden against Mourad Bouzidi. After this he might fight in Fukuoka, Japan. This is on the 15th of June.
